I made this Mothers Day Card using a stamped and embossed image from Hampton Art and then I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color the image in. I stamped a sentiment in the upper corner and then added a strip of black and white polka dot paper to the edge for an accent and then tied some bakers twine in a bow and added it over top. I then mounted the whole piece on a white A2 size card and then stamped a sentiment on the inside.

Thanks card using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers

I stamped and embossed this floral image and then colored them with my new Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I haven’t used them much yet so am not too good at it yet but practice makes perfect right? I cut a thanks sentiment from black card stock and layered about 5 of them on top of one another for depth and then adhered it and applied a coat of glossy accents for shine. I then cut a little butterfly from some black velvet paper and adhered that. I mounted it on a A2 size black card base and then finished off with some black and white sequins.

I added a little thanks sentiment inside and carried over the butterfly image for a little interest.

A look at the markers I used.

I cut a couple of clouds from white cardstock and inked the edges then popped one up with some foam adhesive for dimension. I mounted that on some patterned paper and then affixed it to a top folding 5.25 by 4.5 card base.

#Hero Arts Holiday card challenge shaker card Memory Box Tree Branch Circle

My fourth entry for the Hero Arts Holiday card challenge. I really need to get some new Hero Arts products, I have used the Owl Christmas set on four different cards now so you can see a bunch of different things you can do with just one product. Hero Arts has some really nice products out now that I would love to get.

I decided to make this one a shaker card so I used the new Memory Box Tree Branch Circle die for the shaker portion of the card. I cut around it with a circle die and then a thin frame around the circle. I filled it with some glitter and sequins. I colored my owl with colored pencils and then fussy cut it out and mounted it on top of the peace sentiment which is also part of the Owl Christmas stamp set. I mounted the shaker portion on top of some matching polka dot paper and then added it to the front of my card base. The card is a square card about 4.5 by 4.5 inches. I tied a little pink twine bow for the front of the owl. I finished the card off with some peacock liquid pearls on a couple of the polkadots.
