THIS IS THE 2ND CARD I MADE USING THE #HEROARTS #MYMONTHLYHERO CARD KIT. I STAMPED AND DIE CUT THE IMAGES FROM THE STAMP AND DIE KIT INCLUDED IN THE KIT AND THEN LAYERED THEM BEHIND SOME LAYERS OF HILLS AND GRASS. IN THE BACKGROUND I USED A STENCIL NOT INCLUDED IN THE KIT TO ADD A LITTLE INTEREST. I STAMPED THE GREETING FROM THE CARD KIT IN BLACK INK. I FRAMED THE CARD WITH A PIECE OF PINK CARD STOCK AND THEN MOUNTED IT ON A WHITE CARD BASE THE A2 SIZE SIDE FOLDING.

Cute tags using #Heroarts march card kit. byMonti thepolkadotpinecone
Made these cute little tags using supplies from the March #mymonthlyherokit. I used the tag die from the kit and cut out the different color tags and then stamped on them using some of the other stamps from the kit. I then adhered the big word die cuts I cut using the dies that also came in the kit. I put some coordinating bakers twine through the holes to be able to attach my tags. I finished them off by adding some of the stars and sequins included in the kit also. Super cute and easy tags. Love the #Heroarts card kits.
My Monthly Hero card kit 2 cards byMonti thepolkadotpinecone
Made two cards using the Hero Arts My monthly hero card kit for February. The first card I stamped and embossed the feather stamps from the kit with white embossing powder and the did an emboss resist with my distress oxide inks in a rainbow order. Next I stamped the bird and branch images using the inks that came in the kit and then die cut them with the dies. I adhered them on the panel with foam tape and then added some sequins from a previous hero arts kit and then added a dot of Ranger black enamel for the birds eye. I trimmed my whole panel using a stitched rectangle die from Avery Elle then adhered the whole thing with foam tape to a top folding white A2 size card base.
The second card I die cut some eggs, nest , and leafs from the My Monthly Hero kit. I inked the edges and then wrapped some white eyelash yarn around the nest to look like nesting material and then added the eggs inside. I adhered some more brown twine on the outside of the nest and then added the flower and leaves. I spritzed the whole nest with some gold spray that was from a previous months kit. I then used some Spellbinders decorative curved squares to cut a couple of layers of paper from blue and green card stock. I layered those with foam tape and then added my nest on top. I stamped and embossed the sentiment in gold which was from a stamp set by Crafty Secrets. I added the whole thing on top of a piece of blue mulberry paper and then affixed that to a white top folding card base that measures 5×5.
Hope you like them, I had a lot of fun making them.

CARD USING A STAMP FROM THE JULY #MY MONTHLY HERO CARD KIT
I USED A HEIDI SWAPP HEXAGON STENCIL TO CREATE MY BACKGROUND USING SCATTERED STRAW DISTRESS INK FROM TIM HOLTZ, THEN CUT A HEXAGON USING MY PUNCH AND STAMPED THE BEE AND THE BEE SWEET SENTIMENT FROM THE HERO ARTS JULY CARD KIT ON THE DIE CUT. I STAMPED THE TRAIL AGAIN OFF THE HEXAGON AND THEN ADDED SOME GOLD GLITTER ENAMEL DOTS AND ARROW FROM WE R MEMORY KEEPERS TO EMBELLISH THE CARD. I TIED SOME YELLOW AND WHITE BAKERS TWINE FROM WE R MEMORY KEEPERS AROUND THE WHITE CARD FRONT AND THEN MOUNTED THE WHOLE PIECE ONTO SOME YELLOW CARD STOCK FROM AMERICAN CRAFTS. IT WAS A VERY SIMPLE AND EASY CARD TO MAKE BUT I THINK IT TURNED OUT PRETTY CUTE.
Hero Arts Holiday card challenge entry. Layering tree stamp set.
I used the Hero Arts layering tree stamp for this card along with presents and a star from the Frosty Fairy Friends stamp and die set from Lawn Fawn to make this card for my last entry into the Hero Arts holiday card challenge.
#Hero Arts Holiday card challenge shaker card Memory Box Tree Branch Circle
My fourth entry for the Hero Arts Holiday card challenge. I really need to get some new Hero Arts products, I have used the Owl Christmas set on four different cards now so you can see a bunch of different things you can do with just one product. Hero Arts has some really nice products out now that I would love to get.
I decided to make this one a shaker card so I used the new Memory Box Tree Branch Circle die for the shaker portion of the card. I cut around it with a circle die and then a thin frame around the circle. I filled it with some glitter and sequins. I colored my owl with colored pencils and then fussy cut it out and mounted it on top of the peace sentiment which is also part of the Owl Christmas stamp set. I mounted the shaker portion on top of some matching polka dot paper and then added it to the front of my card base. The card is a square card about 4.5 by 4.5 inches. I tied a little pink twine bow for the front of the owl. I finished the card off with some peacock liquid pearls on a couple of the polkadots.
#Hero Arts Holiday card challenge. Owl Christmas stamp set.
Another entry into the Hero arts holiday card challenge. I used the same Owl Christmas stamp set and I also used the Holly Flourish background stamp which I heat embossed using clear powder. It gives it a nice tone on tone look. I used my copic markers to color the owls and then fussy cut them and raised them up on dimensional stickers. Some red sequins in the corner mimic the Holly berries.
Hero Arts Holiday cards. Owl Christmas stamp set.
My second card for the Hero Arts Holiday cards entry. I used the Owl Christmas stamp set, it’s an older set but Owls are still the in thing. I also stamped the background with some of the snowflakes included in the set and then embossed them with silver embossing powder. The pink hills are from the stitched hillside pop up die from Lawn Fawn. I love that I can trim off the pop up tabs and use them as regular hillsides. I love doing Christmas cards in nontraditional Christmas colors. I framed it all with stitched rectangles from Avery Elle.
